To Whom this may Concern
This is a formal complaint made in response to remarks made by Mrs Florence Horsman-Hogan in interviews given on a number of show's over recent months. This individual is allowed to make offensive remarks concerning the parentage of children incarcerated by the Irish Courts to the Institutional Industrial and Reformatory Schools.
No right of reply is afforded to those persons so libelled.
I have been personally offended by the fact I am described as being genetically configured from birth as being a potential drunkard. pervert or liar"
In a recent article in the Sunday Times, Reference was made by one of this woman's supporters and I quote " The Irish are great storytellers and many it seems are making extreme allegations. The further you go back in years the taller the stories become" The individual concerned is Margaret Jarvis. Reference has been consistently made to false memory syndrome. I have on numerous occasions indicated I am willing to participate in discussion on the Institution situation and while I accept this may not be practical I still retain and demand the right of reply to scurrilous remarks made concerning my frame of mind and my right to express comments about my time in two institutions in Ireland.
I would appreciate comment on this complaint as soon as possible.
