Having read the article (Pope sacks priests, Thursday December 16th 2004 by David Quinn, Irish Independent), I am absolutely in shock and completely stunned that the Pope has merely "Sacked" these 2 Priests. What is this, a 9 to 5 job? I see no mention that they have been banished from the church in every way possible, unlike myself and countless other souls who through the fault of the church itself married the wrong people (as a result of the abuse heaped upon them as children in Catholic Industrial Schools etc) and then were divorced resulting in being Excommunicated from the church.
Let me say this. I think the whole lot of them (The Lay People) are a bunch of hypocrites and do not deserve any respect from the public. If this is Ecclesiastical Justice they can explain themselves to Christ himself on the day of judgement, because right now I feel saintly in comparison.
