"I'm running out of time"

I am running out of time and finding that I am being bogged down in Inquiries, Reports, Stories, Press Releases etc with less and less time to absorb all that is presented to me. As a victim I am not at all sure that anything will change to the benefit of the young so long as the Church has a hand in Teaching anywhere on this planet, let alone Ireland. What I am finding more and more is a sense that no matter what I read. no where do I read how the authorities of the day plan to tackle the problem. Is there not an Independent Body that children can contact who will at least listen to what they have to say in relation to their experiences at School? Or do they for forever more have to put up with nasty, overbearing, terror inflicting monsters the church has sent out into the world?

Just who do these people actually think they are? To me they are causing more problems than they are worth. However, they have only done the deeds they have because they were time and again protected by the very society they were abusing and yet, out of a sense of for boding no one in any agency of Irish and other countries dared to tackle the monsters, fully knowing that they were there in the very heart of society doing their dirty work with impunity. My God they even paid for counsel ling for some of their victims, all the while denying that they had done anything wrong. Rubbish, they knew exactly what they were doing, that it was wrong, that it would destroy lives, but best of all, for them, they knew that in the main they could get away with it because no one was prepared to say a wrong word to the Church etc out of fear of eternal damnation as told to countless good people over the years who actually believed it. The only criteria required to get into the kingdom of heaven, in my view is to be as kind and gentle to all around you, a belief in God helps, but is not mandatory, in spite of the various religious doctrine. My good lady is one of the kindest, helpful and sincere people I know, and let me tell you, she "will" get into heaven, in spite of never attending church.

In conclusion, I will simply say that I have my doubts as to any positive outcome of any of these inquiries so long as the Church still wields any influence in the Education of Children. Religion should take more of secondary role in this day and age, and if that be the case, the religious have a minor role to play from now on, and besides, have they not done far too much damage already?
