The statement above (copied from the article) is ever so right. However, it goes even further, it has more power than you would imagine in not only disabeling a society, it gave the powers that be (The Government's over the years) the perfect excuse to not only protect these priests, brothers, and Nuns, but to continue to lie and cheat the abused with something disguised as a means of outing the truth, The Redress Act 2002. That Act through its secrecy was the perfect tool in which to further abuse people such as myself and others by pretending to "REDRESS THE ABUSE" but not only did it not Redress The Abuse, it further added to it by, in a lot of cases, deliberately and with malice fail to fully redress the abuse by not Expunging The Illegal Convictions of many people. Do not be fooled, if you were Detained by the courts under the guise of "Inappropriate Guardianship" or detained as a result of begging and you were under the age of responsibility, "YOU STILL HAVE A CRIMINAL CONVICTION AGAINST YOU" - The Redress Act 2002 may as well be written in chalk, it has no meaning, as it did not Expunge the illegal conviction. "YOU ARE STILL A CRIMINAL IN THE EYES OF THE LAW" And why? Because to Expunge The Conviction would be an admittance that it was illegal in the first place, in which case, you have grounds to seek recourse in the courts for defamation, breach of human rights, and a whole host of other personal attacks.
