SURVIVORS of institutional abuse have told the Government they will not support a national monument dedicated to their childhood suffering — as the Government is refusing to listen to them.

Wide divisions have developed between the Department of Education and institutional abuse survivors in recent months, with survivors accusing the Government of “failing them as children and failing them as adults”.

Meanwhile, huge rifts have also developed between survivors themselves.

Founder of the God Squad website The God Squad and institution survivor, Paddy Doyle said “the huge divisions amongst the survivor representative groups is crackpot stuff and won’t serve to achieve anything for ordinary survivors”.

Last April, the Government announced it was establishing a €110 million statutory fund for former residents of institutions, which 18 religious orders would contribute to over the coming years.

The extra money was sought by Taoiseach Brian Cowen in the aftermath of the damning Ryan Report, which highlighted the systematic physical, sexual and emotional abuse of young children.

The statutory fund will provide for the educational, health and housing needs of survivors. However, the survivors would rather that they were given money to spend as they wish.

John Kelly of Survivors of Church Abuse said most survivors are “too old for education to make any difference to their lives”.

“We are too old for education and we have medical cards. We should be able to use that money as we see fit — to look after our families in the way we want.

“We have told them we don’t want the monument until they begin to listen to us. I told the Taoiseach, ‘You robbed our childhood and now you are robbing us again and you aren’t listening to us’,” he said.

Survivors have voiced repeated concern about the 18-month waiting list for face-to-face counselling at the National Counselling Service.

A public consultation process is under way at present in advance of the establishment of the statutory fund. However, survivors have said they found out about it “by accident”.

A growing number of survivors are also complaining that survivor representative groups, funded by the Government, are failing to provide information as they should.

One survivor, Rose Gosnell from Cobh said Right of Place has done nothing to help her yet gets millions in government funding. “The place is overrun with cronyism. We are being trod on all over again,” she said.

Last night a Department of Education spokesman said the Government considered a “range of demands for the Redress Scheme to be extended and awards reviewed, however it felt it was not possible for it to second guess the independent board and associated appeals process to the Review Committee.”

To all the survivors who have commented on this blog and particularly Geraldine Brocas- Jellicoe, my heart goes out to you.

What I find particularly outrageous and inhumane is the way authorities continue to abuse people who have already had their child-hoods stolen by evil people claiming to represent Jesus.

I am also a survivor of years of abuse by the clergy but in a different situation.

Since Gerry’s comment was pointed out to me last night I have been feeling highly emotional; I wish I had known years ago when we were friends.

I have been trying to get in touch with Gerry for years and am appalled and angry that all of you should have been so cruelly treated and then bullied when trying to get basic info.

If anyone has an email for Gerry then please let her know I am trying to get in touch and will do whatever I can to help

my children finished their education many moons ago we worked hard and sent the children to to Private fee paying school’s going without ourself to give them a education that we were denied in the Industrial schools ,they then went to Colleges which were free <except for trips here and there for education purposes we still had to dig in to our pockets ,now they are all married aged from 40 -43-45 and 2 of them now living in America, Austraila,as for myself I just want to be free from anything to do with Statuary Trust fund, Groups ,or services for survivors for I have found over the last 12 years there has been NO help whatever ,No Info, No advice, No Corispondence to me from anyone ,On my trip up to Dublin all I got when trying to seek advice about something to do with tracing family was to be Insulted and Bullied, and Shouted at and made to feel as though I had a cheek going into the so called centre they didn't even want to look nor speak to me I was been very polite and really expected the person who call's themselve the leader who I know has been recieving huge funding in survivors names As I AM A Survivor one of the older ones I thought I had gone to the right place I did notice the small handful of people in the place were to young to be survivors, a couple called in and were greeted I stake my life they Never even heard of Industrial school's I don't know what country they came from it was not Ireland.I only wanted a bit of Info Not one person was available anywhere to give me the advice I needed .Noone wanted to know . now that the missing funds from the right of place is ongoing it is time that The Aislinn Center was investigated for they have been tied in together the government should stop the funding to those corupt places altogether and Pay Us our rightful compansation . the only ones who want the statuary trust fund are THE ALREADY CORUPT. i DON'T WANT A MEMORIAL,I DON'T WANT TO BE REMINDED ,THEY ARE TRYING TO HOLD US AND OUR FAMILIES IN THE PAST.

  3. Geraldine Brocas-Jellicoe says:

Let’s face things all those self appointed group self called group leaders their Lawyer friends from the very beginning when us Victims who suffered inhuman child abuse were to be compensated and RIGHTFULLY SO,Lawyers and self appointed group leaders who scrambled to put our names on their lists in order they could then apply for huge funding to prop themselves up and swell their bank accounts bringing only their friends into their little niche which has been closed to the rest of us, while NOT giving a fiddlers Fart about the rest of us ,The government jumped on the bandwagon next knowing to pass on the problem of guilt they let group leaders take hold so they the GOVERNMENT could wash their hands of the problem (they meant You and I )for themselves leaving the Real victims floating on air as to what on earth is going on ,many of these so called group leaders have grown up in Industrial Hell Child Prison’s ARE BOUND TO BE DAMAGED THEMSELVES ,IN DIFFERENT WAYS And therefore are not and should never been allowed to be in a position to have any say as to who gets compensated and who not THEY SHOULD NEVER HAVE SAT WITH GOVERNMENT MINISTERS DISCUSSING AS TO WHAT THE GOVERNMENT WANT TO DO WITH OUR COMPENSATION they only want to keep their positions and hold over the rest of us, BULLYING is a word springs to mind.just like in the Industrial hell holes.I was BULLIED ON MY SECOND VISIT BACK I NEEDED TO FIND THE NATIONAL ARCHIVES TO FIND OUT ABOUT MY BACKGROUND ,AND WAS TOLD BY A SO CALLED GROUP LEADER TO GO BACK ABROAD ,so NO help there ,another insulted me because of my surname shouted how dare I come back to Ireland bringing down the good name of the Catholic CHURCH with my P……… Name For all the millions those so called Services for survivors have been giving OUT OF OUR COMPENSATION FUND ,they must OPEN THE BOOKS and let all of us see just what you spent Our money on ???On a rare visit to Dublin I met survivors who were STILL HOMELESS mainly MEN survivors, I found this to be UNJUST ,SHAMEFUL ,,it opened my eyes to huge corruption, MY NAME SHOULD ONLY BE ON THE LIST OF PADDY DOYLE he is my representative ; IF you don’t like my spelling you know who is to blame, GROUP LEADERS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED ,we should be given our own compensation that way we may feel that we have had some form of JUSTICE , though no amount of money will ever make up for our LOSS ,but will help, WE ARE INDIVIDUALS NOT A PACK. WE HAVE MINDS OF OUR OWN.ALL OUR CASES ARE DIFFERENT, many sentenced in the Criminal Court as BABIES, or young children to be detained for all or most of childhoods. ALL DIFFERENT.and should be treated as such.and compensated in line with Human Justice in The Court Of Human Rights.WE HAVE BEEN USED AND ABUSED LONG ENOUGH.

  4. Geraldine Brocas-Jellicoe says:

I would much rather we all had our rightful compansation paid to each of us in person >For all those so called group leaders pushing for more funding WHAT HAVE THEY SPENT THE MILLIONS THEY HAVE TAKEN SO FAR???? NOT ON ME thats for sure I have NOT had a thing by way of advice ,help, nor have I known about any so called meetings ,I have not been informed about anything, IT IS TO LATE ,I have never been involved in any GROUP, I now want my COMPANSATION for damage caused to my whole life ,loss of siblings ;Roots ,Name, and much more, as for a memorial what good is a piece of stone when most of us survivors dont live in Ireland not even the UK,and doubt we would get an invitation to the opening ,that in my mind would be well attended by the so callen group leaders and THE PRESS.STOP GIVING FUNDING TO THOSE SO CALLED SERVICES FOR SURVIVORS; give the money to the Victims. I Am So Angry.WE THE SURVIVORS HAVE BEEN TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF LONG ENOUGH.TIME THIS STOPPED.

  5. Since many of us were condemed to be abused by the people in charge of things at the time ‘as rumers were more than ripe as far as the church run. instutions were concerned. we have had to live with this all our lives. small children watching even smaller ones beeing sent away to these god forsaken places. we deserve some respect now as many have made the best childhoods possable for our children .
its about time we recieved our full pay for all the work done during our time inside . this money is beeing used for all sorts of things .if the government do this to us then in future years it will be for everyone who has been abused. and the industriel schools will be forgotten . as will the role of the people who sent us there . i can still remember the juge who sentenced me and my family. my little brother was in the arms of a policewomen. as for praying for them well i dont think that god would expect us to do that
    .

  6. granny says:

if we the real victims are giving what is rightfully ours in the first place >ie Our Compansation , paid to ourselves ,Then FUNDING TO THOSE GROUPS ECT WOULD STOP >THAT’S WHAT THEY DON’T WANT TO HAPPEN they want to make sure they keep themselves in their jobs using us Victims ,Mrs Goughlan as head of dept of education I wonder just how she got that job so soon after entering politics >Strange, WHO YOU KNOW< I am sure she believes by keeping our compansation and using our money for everyone and anyone she will look good in the eyes of the public. I would love to know just how many children were locked up by the state had Grandfather's Father's ,Uncle's, Cousin's, Aunts, all of which FOUGHT IN WW1 AND WW2 where many Irish Soldiers lost their lives on the Battlefields Or were left Injured in Mind and Body.I bet most .these would be the children of the 1930's-1940's-1950's that the state locked up in child prisons.I bet we find records hard to find because some novice burnt them by mistake again just like what happened to our medical records,SO NOW I HEAR THEY ARE THINKING OF DISTROYING MORE RECORDS, THAT BELONG TO THE IRISH NATION.IF THEY CArry this out we have every right to take them to the europian court of human rights.THATS WHERE WE SHOULD BE NOW FIGHTING FOR JUSTICE FROM THE CORUPT STATE.I WOULD TELL ANY VICTIM NOT TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE REDRESS INSTEAD GO TO THE HIGH COURT AND GET A LAWYER WHO IS NOT CATHOLIC.MY HEART IS WITH YOU ALL. X

  7. LYNDA GASH says:

MR MURPHY WE ARE NOT THE PEOPLE WHO DESTROYED THE CHURCH WE ARE THE VICTIMS WHO WERE ABUSED BY PRIESTS, NUNS, BROTHERS AND LAY PEOPLE WHO USED THEIR POSITION WITHIN THE CHURCH TO CARRY OUT THEIR EVIL AND SADISTIC WAYS ON THE MOST VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN SOCIETY, SO HOW DARE YOU SUGGEST THAT WE GO ON OUR KNEES AND PRAY FOR THEM, AS FAR AS I’M CONCERNED EACH OF OUR ABUSERS SHOULD BE HUNTED DOWN AND JAILED FOR THEIR WICKED CRIMES, MIGHT I SUGGEST THAT YOU SEEK HELP AS YOU CLEARLY NEED IT. I’M WRITING THIS IN CAPITOL LETTERS IN ORDER TO HELP YOU SEE A BIT MORE CLEARLY.IN ORDER TO CLEAN UP THE CHURCH WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE EVIL WITHIN IT AND GET HELP FOR THOSE WITH MINDS LIKE YOURSELF, THEN AND ONLY THEN WE MAY CLEAR A PATHWAY FOR THE CHURCH TO REVIVE AND COMFORT AND CONSOLE THOSE WHO FOR YEARS BELIEVED IN THE TEACHINGS OF THE CHURCH AND WHO NOW ARE APPALLED BY THEIR BEHAVIOURS. BURYING YOUR HEAD IN THE SAND WILL NOT SUFFICE IF YOU AND THOSE WHO THINK LIKE YOU WISH TO RECOVER FROM YOUR OBVIOUS DIFFICULTY IN BELIEVING THE TRUTH.

  8. I have rang the Irish centre in Camden Town on a few occasions no reply may be some people are lucky. On Monday last rang the Haringey Irish Centre to see if they could put up the petition for survivors to sign I was told they could not do that as they are only there to inform survivors of benefits and redress.

  9. David (UK) says:

I am of the opinion that if we had the proper education as children in the institutions then there wouldn’t be need for any education to come out of the ‘Trust Fund.’ The fact is that education was brutally beaten into us and whatever subjects we were supposed to learn was impossible as we so feared the belt or stick. Many of the nuns and brothers in the old days were not really proper teachers, they were more hell bent on destroying a childs life and now that child in his/hers adult life is supposed to be greatful for an education from the fund. Personaly I would say ‘stick the education,’ we can get it free elsewhere.

  10. Granny1 says:

Liz ,they keep insisting we need an education ,That is an Insult >Life is the best education the only people insisting on this and that cursed Trust Fund are those who want to make sure their large funding continues that is their only agenda, those group leaders so called have had large funding for many years >FOR WHAT???they help themselves and friends and make sssure their own families benifit ,Thats It,I have not met any victim who has been helped , their are plenty of places anyone can get Computer skills ,ect ect all free ,you mention the london centre well that might be ok IF you live in London most victims are scattered all over the world and cant be many in Dublin ,They all say they have so many names on their lists for further FUNDING <Don't you think they should open their books so we all see what names are on those lists and account for every Euro they spent on what.Education is free in schools and colleges also Librarys are a GREAT SOURCE OF FREE COARSES IF WANTED ,i DON'T TAKE KINDLY TO BE Dictated TO AS TO WHAT MARY COUGHLAN AND CERTAIN SO CALLED GROUP LEADERS WANT TO HAPPEN TO SURVIVORS RIGHTFUL COMPANSATION.I get a feeling from your post I could be wrong you were not sentenced by the criminal court into an Industrial Reformatory as a baby or young child ,just a feeling.don't you really think it better survivors are given their money so we can look after our own families as well as ourselves.instead of Government Lawyers putting it into their Government coffers for their benifit only any trust fund held in their evil clutches will never see the survivors we would never see any of it .as for councelling that is free anyway.Think about it.noone cares about us so we survivors have to stick together.why are there still homeless survivors 10 years on???????

  11. robert says:

many people get stuck in a rut not understanding what they are saying here we have someone using the word pray the actual word translated properly is to “ask or wish for” not necessarily praying to god because it is used in everyday language in hebrew, arabic countries even today amongst their own. we use the words i ask you or i wish you, they use the word i pray you to whatever.
if you want to know god know his word by not being religious.
if only the vatican would teach people how to understand the word of god that is if they know how.
and yes there are innocent people out there who have the title priest. but they are supposed to be servants of the people not rulers your gospel teaches that when the old woman touched the hem of jesus garment to get healed the deciple said do not bother the master when jesus heard it he turned to the deciple and said who are you to rule my people know you not that you are their servant not their ruler for my people are ruled all their days on this earth.
i say all this in respect to those who wish to have faith without religion.
if you are going to preach something know what it is you are preaching mr murphy.

  12. robert says:

i pray this man be set free from the web of confusion as he has lost his way to being a human.

  13. Granny1 says:

Well said culchiewoman, >Mr Murphy?< I went to the Mountains in Snowdonia lifted up my arms in thanks that my tiny baby brother died aged 3 months from heart problems Before we were stolen from our families and roots by the state of ireland to be seperated into different child prisons to be tortured, he was saved from a brutal nightmare, Abusive life as a baby and child at the sadistic hands of the so called Christian Brothers. little Brother you are not Forgotten .

  14. culchiewoman says:

I should add a note on Mr. Murphy’s further inane comment: “Offer your pain up for the unborn babies who suffer the worst form of abuse, abortion.”

Interesting the Church has always been so ‘pro-life’ when it comes to the unborn, yet once we’re born, they have no problems abusing, raping or selling children (I was one of those sold, to the U.S., in 1961). So much for holding life in highest regard, eh? Oh, but that’s right…it’s only held in high regard before it breathes air…is that correct, Mr. Murphy? Again, peddle these lies on some other message board. It has no place here and won’t find any ‘takers’.

  15. Paddy says:

The thought occurred to me that Mr. Murphy might be just looking for his few minutes of fame. Perhaps he should look elsewhere and see if there are people of a mind like his own. Paddy.

  16. Granny1 says:

Mr Murphy ?or is it Miss ? who had priests in the family perhaps even Nuns.I have a strong feeling about this The Roman Catholic Church ENSLAVED Ireland’s Children Just as The Taliban and Al Queda are doing. It’s all about Total Power over people. You must be very Ignorant and Stupid to write such Gobbldegook

  17. culchiewoman says:

Mr. Murphy clearly hasn’t a clue. Pray for the priests? Are you kidding me? Pray for the Church? It’s well beyond prayers or redemption now, with Bennie the Rat’s latest goings-on. I’m with Katherine…shame on you. If you don’t like the title of Paddy’s website, then stay the eff away. No one here needs to hear you heap further abuse and lies on those who have truly suffered.

@Kevin Flanagan: we are definitely focusing on the injustices suffered by Magdalene survivors. Visit http://www.magdalenelaundries.com for more information on the fight for restorative justice and an apology.

  18. I also won’t be doing any praying we did enought of that as children. You really don’t know what you are saying Mr Murphy.

  19. kathleen brack says:

how dare you mr murphy shame on you where you put in with pigs at seven years of age for a week three BIG pigs they could have killed me and then if that wasnt enough dragged out of the pig stye stripped and thrown into nettles how dare you ill KNEEL to no one

  20. robert says:

by the way the government are the ones who DECIDED to choose and to pay these funds wages reports redress and so on so why should we be billed for the cost?
if we chose to do so then we would not have this argument about these costs.
what a rip off once again we lost out.
these rich people must really love us no wonder there were a lot of smiling faces huh

  21. robert says:

liz there is not enough money for this education from the funds.
there are so many survivors just trying to survive life itself
and if people read these site columns they would find nothing but hurt.
the survivors never had a voice so how can they be revengeful?
the groups who claimed to represent survivors were the only ones who were allowed to voice their opinion and that they did without the mandates of survivors.
here is the only place the survivors have to voice that hurt.

the government took what they called their 50% from the church contributions for the redress/educational funds/counciling funds/ family tracing funds/ lawyers bills/ admin bills/ bills themselves/and wages for all involved, from the 600 plus million the church gave and left survivors with a tiny amount of 100 million.
the government should have put these funds wages and bills down to their own 100% involvement
and left that 600 million euro go to the survivors that came from the religious as a contribution of their 100% involvement.

now liz you can see there is not enough money left here to do anything with.
we are down to 100 million from over 600 million the church gave.

there are the homeless, the disabilities, the families on welfare, we are back to the bad old days where the poor will always suffer and loose out.

education grants are available in main stream ireland unless of course you are rich enough to pay for your own.
there are already free education lessons for people who do not know how to read and write i am sure.

john i pray that the pope asks the irish government to give that 600 million plus euro to the survivors now. amen

  22. rose says:

Liz, our children and grandchildren will be educated anyway, however further education would be of little or no use to most of us survivours/victims. We cannot sit back and let those who are guilty of such abuse of children in their care, trod all over those children as adults now.

  23. rose says:

John, You won’t find me on my knees praying for any of them John. Are you a victim John?

  24. Paddy says:

OK, You’ve made you point James. I presume that’s the end of it. What more can you say? Paddy.

  25. john murphy says:

I Still find the title of your page offensive and puerile.

  26. john murphy says:

is there any end to the incessant revenge seeking cries and the cursing of the abusers and gov. from the abusers themselves. I find it inconcievable that these abused can call themselves catholics. you should be on your knees praying for these unfortunate priests who have to live with the consequences of their immoral actions and pray for the church which is being attacked by the secularists and enemies who are using you the abused to further their agendas. Is all that matters that you get an insignificant and material monument? Wake up those of you who have been abused and see how you are being manipulated by those who would destroy the Catholic Church (media, secularists, political parties). No human power can make restitution for the wrongs done but prayer can. Do not renounce your faith on a whim. It’s more important than that. Offer your pain up for the unborn babies who suffer the worst form of abuse, abortion.

  27. Liz says:

Hello Paddy, I would like to say that one is never too old to learn. The problems with the trust Fund seems to be ongoing. Am I right in thinking that the people who are asking for more money from the FUND have already had their AWARDS from the redress board. I know most of us SURVIVORS did not have an education when we should have but surely the FUND will help with further education now, if not for us, then for our children and possibly our GRANDCHILDREN. The group I attend keep us informed as to what is happening in Ireland. Keep up the good work PHYLLIS AND SALLY at the Irish center in London.

  28. robert says:

    kevin
there has been a lot said in support of the magdelane laundries just browse through out paddy’s columns we support them all the way all abuse and neglect of irish people should have been dealt but what can any one do with a government that refuses to see the damage they have caused the people of ireland.

  29. robert says:

this is the monument that resembles the disgrace of the way survivors were treated to the time they passed away.
the hurt was unrecognized by the government and the religious alike. this government more so as they took 500 million euro of the hurting survivors this monument will be the curse of their actions and long may that curse last.
let it remind the proud people of ireland how the government dictated they will only pay 50% of their 100% crime toward survivors from the time they were born to their deaths as it certainly does not represent survivors of today.
the modern government and those groups are the modern version of the government and church of the past.

  30. Anne says:

    Hi

If anyone is interested there is now a Group on facebook called “Protest The Irish Government Plans To Keep Abuse Victims Monies”

The more the merrier I say!it’s slowly building considering it was done a couple of hours ago.

  31. kevin flanagan says:

hi my reply is plain and simple extra funding should be given to the women who suffered as much in thelaundiers i dont hear anyone talkin about

  32. anne flaherty says:

ROBERT! Absolutely well said! You couldn’t have put it any better!

The Solicitors should hang their heads in shame. If I were you I wouldn’t be able to look a victim of child Abuse in the eye!
Every single one of you greedy sharks. You all made so much money on the backs of us survivors…You read our statements..were aware of our pain and sufferings and we have had to suffer once more..continuously for the last 10yrs fighting for what is rightfully ours. I say survivors but how many of us are actually survivng?????? just barely existing is more apt for most!

Does The Government not see? The Minister of Education and the rest?!?! everyone else can see but those in power. should you not use that power with care, truth and honesty?

Mr Cowan..are you not a compassionate man? have you read the Ryan Report/Murphy Report? did that move you, disturb you?!?! well we lived that..for many years day in day out…Insecurity, fear, starvation, beatings, sexual Abuse, physical Abuse, torment, Lonliness, psychological problems that are so severe we were mentally and physically crippled in different way’s that clearly we didn’t stand a chance! you have that power to make decisions on thousands of mentally, physically beaten survivors! I urge you to carefully consider this as not only will you be judged by the world. You shall also be judged by God. Now I know your a Catholic, but a true Catholic..or a true person of God will always do what is right and just. So I would think carefully, and I hope you come to realise the scale of what you have this power over so many survivors and their famillies lives. There wellbeing e.c.t

My father paid money to the state and Religious regularly for a long time. I have it all on record. why was my father a poor man who was forced to give his children up paying for us to be in the convent when we were working..slave labour..and suffering so much Abuse..hunger and torment?…..

God is good. He will always, Always! avenge those who have done so much wrong.

But still we fight on. This is what they chose to do to us in this day and age.

    Anne

  33. robert says:

The statutory fund will provide for the educational, health and housing needs of survivors

    here is some more jokes/insults

    1. education is riddled with red tape hard to get or get it on time, not made very clear what the difference is between the mainstream grants and this grant.
the groups were too busy to even explain this.
yet this was already part of the redress deal you promised to survivors through so called groups.

NOW why is the education fund on this bill? WHY?

    2.HEALTH.
thousands of survivors have suffered health from the childhood as you put it we have grown up with these health problems as you put it so why do we have to pay for the damage you have caused thousands of people up to date?
teeth now will drain that bill since you are forcing poor survivors to pay.
ALL HEALTH SHOULD BE FREE FOR SURVIVORS WE ARE NO WAY NEAR THE MAJORITY OF THIS COUNTRY OUR HEALTH HAS SUFFERED THANKS TO THE STATE AND RELIGIOUS 100% EACH.

    HOUSING.
how many houses are lying empty all around the country, rte saying on prime time you do not know what to do with them. give them away or destroy them rte said you said this.
well ? it may be a right and just, idea to give every survivor the house they need. you now have thousands of homes lying empty.
how long have survivors been homeless the one most important issue neglected in the redress agreement.
we were the children of the state and religious we should have the right to inherit a home not just petty cash for making others rich on our backs once again.
thousands of houses well thousands of survivors the ends should justify the means.

  34. robert says:

The extra money was sought by Taoiseach Brian Cowen in the aftermath of the damning Ryan Report, which highlighted the systematic physical, sexual and emotional abuse of young children.

The statutory fund will provide for the educational, health and housing needs of survivors. However, the survivors would rather that they were given money to spend as they wish.

this does not make any sense, if the Taoiseach Brian Cowen was so concerned then why why why did he take the 500-million and leave the petty cash for survivors who are witnesses of the crimes he so mentioned.

all the time he made deals with these so called groups we all were not aware of the deals between them both.
we were all left out in the dark.
why did this government not deal with every survivors solicitor as part of the redress why the groups we all had solicitors.
if the government was honest they would have given the full 100% of the religious money to the survivors and held meetings with survivor’s solicitors through the law council
    the head of the law.
and survivors would have been informed what their options were just as the redress.

it was wrong to make deals with the groups who have had no mandates all they said was they were responsible for informing us who wanted to know what was going on.
instead they were taken over the whole issue.

WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE LAW MR. COWEN?
WHY THE UNQUALIFIED, UNCARING, UNPROFESSIONAL, GROUPS?

ALL DEALS SHOULD HAVE GONE THROUGH THE LAW SOCIETY AND THEN TO SOLICITORS WHO HAVE BEEN PAID ENOUGH BY THE WAY TO DEAL WITH ALL THIS.

YOU HAVE WASTED OUR MONEY ON MOCK DEALS INSTEAD OF BEING PROFESSIONAL AND DEALING WITH SURVIVORS AND THEIR SOLICITORS.

JUST AS YOU DID THE TAX PAYERS WITH THE BANKS.
THIS IS SCANDALOUS RIDICULOUS AND UNDER HANDED.

PLEASE THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS RETURN THE RELIGIOUS MONEY BACK TO THE RIGHTFUL OWNERS THE SURVIVORS/WITNESSES OF THE CRIMES THE STATE AND RELIGIOUS DID EACH RELIABLE FOR 100% TO THOUSANDS OF CHILDREN.
