TWO GERMAN lawyers have initiated charges against Pope Benedict XVI at the International Criminal Court, alleging crimes against humanity.
Christian Sailer and Gert-Joachim Hetzel, based at Marktheidenfeld in the Pope’s home state of Bavaria, last week submitted a 16,500-word document to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court at the Hague, Dr Luis Moreno Ocampo.
Their charges concern “three worldwide crimes which until now have not been denounced . . . (as) the traditional reverence toward ‘ecclesiastical authority’ has clouded the sense of right and wrong”.
They claim the Pope “is responsible for the preservation and leadership of a worldwide totalitarian regime of coercion which subjugates its members with terrifying and health-endangering threats”.
They allege he is also responsible for “the adherence to a fatal forbiddance of the use of condoms, even when the danger of HIV-Aids infection exists” and for “the establishment and maintenance of a worldwide system of cover-up of the sexual crimes committed by Catholic priests and their preferential treatment, which aids and abets ever new crimes”.
They claim the Catholic Church “acquires its members through a compulsory act, namely, through the baptism of infants that do not yet have a will of their own”. This act was “irrevocable” and is buttressed by threats of excommunication and the fires of hell.
It was “a grave impairment of the personal freedom of development and of a person’s emotional and mental integrity”. The Pope was “responsible for its preservation and enforcement and, as Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith of his Church, he was jointly responsible” with Pope John Paul II.
Catholics “threatened by HIV-AIDS . . . are faced with a terrible alternative: If they protect themselves with condoms during sexual intercourse, they become grave sinners; if they do not protect themselves out of fear of the punishment of sin threatened by the church, they become candidates for death.”
There was also “strong suspicion that Dr Joseph Ratzinger, as prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith of his church and as Pope, has up to the present day systematically covered up the sexual abuse of children and youths and protected the perpetrators, thereby aiding and abetting further sexual violence toward young people”.
I have a hunch that a lot of people in Ireland will not want the Pope next or near this country. It will be interesting to see what happens. Paddy.
Who in Ireland nowadays can afford the pope as a guest. When he travels its only in private plains. cars have to be fitted out especally for him . i dont know if he is used to fish and chips. and then for him to visit dublin he needs a see through car. its going to cost a lot of money

Those who protect, i.e., enable, the HABITUAL abusers of their fellow humans – whether they be children, or adults in a vulnerable situation, are either brain-damaged adults themselves, or just plain evil. Either way, the are not normal human adults.
Normal human adults do not perceive their fellow humans as “fodder” to feed upon, like a vulture devours carrion.
Normal human adults do what they can to make their own way in the world, without having to resort to preying on their own kind. The ONLY time a normal human adult may succumb to this this primative way of Mere Survival is when he or she is actually forced into a WAR – against our own kind.
Some of us do resort to that primitive level of surviving, and some of us don’t.
Usually (but there are rare exceptions) it all depends on how we were treated by our parents/primary guardians as infants. In other words, it all depends on how we experienced life, as an individual, in the earliest years of our own life.
Is protector of pedophiles worse than the pedophile….a short note that might assist persons unconnected with abuse who may benefit from clear understanding.
It might seem a moot point to those not familiar personally with abuse. The abuser is a reckless person indifferent to others and a self contained pot of evil with compulsive desires to repeat. According to the FBI behavioural handbook for pedophile crime, the abusers as a group will habitually deny crime right into the court in the hope of evading conviction.
The protector of the abuser is generally in legal terms a sane person that is accountable in an organisation and chooses or is encouraged to hide primary evidence, prevent conviction and lie where useful to prevent conviction or loss to the order.
Protectors of abusers, who are orchestrating at local, national, or international levels, the destruction or concealment of individual abusers, networks of abusers or collective information regarding theior action is no doubth worse in terms of sustaining ongoing crime, than the criminal itself. Consider now , the master planner for such concealments and destruction of evidence and you now have an understanding of criminal direction on a worldwide scale which warrants total focus and political suport for cross border cooperation by all government agencies.

Paddy, the Irish were told of this in 1992 but did not want to listen.The state sided with the men of god on OUR BEHALF, which legally they had no right to do. The HSE sided with the men of god too. Dept of Just Us sided with the men of god and even in 1995 were prepared to declare strong women witches, just to get rid of them. No broomstick required, only women daring to speak the truth. Inquisitional courts existed in ireland in 1995 with our court corporation daring to take the property of women just as they did in the days of the Witch trials. It is all about control and money.

The church has always commited crimes against humanity. But by using canon law thay have hidden it.Now its time to admit that the pope is not devin. he is just a man who dident face his responsability. And because of that so many people suffer. If people want to take contreception that should concern them only not the church who brings up all the kids .And pays all the bills
while taking note of what is going on with the church leaders lets think a moment.
we all know how bad the so called religious are for what they have done to our childhoods we the survivors know this and may they be brought to justice for their crimes but just one moment here, the media have hammered this over and over and over again.
but there are just as important things being ignored, neglected by the press and by everyone who can do something for survivors.
THE PROBLEM IS THE SHEER VOID OF INFORMATION TO HELP AND COMFORT SURVIVORS.
THIS VOID IS A MASSIVE HOLE IN THE LIVES OF US SURVIVORS NEVER MENTIONED ANYWHERE.
THIS VOID IN OUR LIVES IS THE TROUBLE WE ARE HAVING TO COPE WITH EVERY SINGLE DAY.
IT IS VOID BECAUSE ALL IN POWER IS AVOIDING US BECAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO PAY BACK WHAT THEY HAVE TAKEN FROM US ALL.
THE WEIGHT OF THE INFORMATION SHOULD BE WHAT ON THIS EARTH IS ANYONE DOING TO HELP SURVIVORS TO FILL THAT VOID IN THEIR LIVES.
SURVIVORS OF ABUSE ARE JUST WORDS USED TO FIGHT THE CHURCH, THIS IS NOT ABOUT PEOPLE IT IS ABOUT THE POWER AS USUAL.

Alice Miller describes the appropriate counseller thus : Question : “What kind of therapist, do you feel, is adequately trained to deal with the adult who has been damaged as an early child?”
Answer AM. “In my opinion, only therapists who know well of the painful stories of their own childhoods can respectfully and effectively deal with the suffering of their patients. They will not preach them forgetting and forgiveness out of their own fear; they will know that ALL of their patients suffer from the effects of the denial of having been beaten, humiliated or even tortured.”
Christine Buckleys comments ARE Dehumanising, and whilst I do not want to criticise HER or undermine her as a person, or what good work she has done, or may be doing, she must address this kind of behaviour.
It cannot stand.
It is the cycles repeating themselves, and in her position this is utterly toxic. To all Survivors, not least to herself.
Any child who has been arrested and taken away by uniformed strangers could identify strongly with Solzhenitsyn’s description of his arrest in Russia and incarceration in the Gulag.The arrest was the defining moment from which all future events commenced. An innocent childs experience in a gulag run by maniacs can only be worst than than any experience of an adult in a Russian gulag.
At the time of his arrest, will citizen Joseph Ratzinger ask himself those terrifying question that an Irish child might have asked himself.
Who are these people, what did I do, why are they taking me, where are they bringing me, what will they do to me, will I come home, will I see my family again. Devastating questiosn for an adult even more so for a 5 year old child.
Perhaps Joseph ratzinger in his decent from the throne at the time of his arrest might do well to ask himself some questions along the lines of…….Why have I been like this, why did I do it, what made me so wicked and evil toward children, why am I so indifferent, what made me think it was right, have I ever been a human, have i ever known life, is there something I can do to make it better for my victims now before my death, why is it I have been so blinded by this system of indoctrination, what can I do to help my victims, when can I do the things they ask of me. Can I get any peace for my crimes before my death.
